| Peter Ellison |
Peter Ellison was born and raised in England. Although he enjoyed cooking at home with his family and friends he originally studied engineering in school. He eventually moved to Canada where he worked in Toronto Ontario restoring old apartment buildings for ten years.
A career switch began when he completed the Culinary Apprenticeship Program at Fanshawe College in London Ontario. Peter learned his trade under a strict European model studying French and International cuisines.
Peter’s culinary career started out by working for a variety of hotel groups such as the Radisson, Westin, Hilton, and Commonwealth. Since 1990 he has participated in several charities including five times at ‘THE MEAL’, which raises funds for diabetes research.
Spencer Leadership Centre was lucky enough to have Peter join us in 1999 and he has lead the kitchen team since that time, becoming Executive Chef in 2007.
